I live in San Jose and in a few places can get a dense, frosty nug with 22% THC at a dispensary for12-15 a gram and itll get me high as f*ck. The point I'm trying to make is good weed is good weed. If Colorado weed is better than Cali weed then it's definitely not a noticeable difference. But yeah it sucks that all the good shops in SFV are getting shut down.

Jen, knowledge is my business. High Country Caregiver has done its best to survey a large population of Coloradoans. We advertised the survey on every major news publication's website in Colorado and got over 400 responses so far. There was no question about smoking pot or not so I can't answer your first question. Nationally you are correct that 50% favor legalization. In Colorado which this survey sampled the number in favor of legalization is around 73%. Our survey currently shows 87% in favor of legalization, thought that was not the scope of the survey. We implemented the survey to see what people thought about CO HB 10 - 1284 and regulation of medical marijuana. Our study found overwhelmingly that everyone pretty much wants legalization without regulation because in this country there is no taxation without representation, and CO HB 10 - 1284 has a long way to go before it represents any person. Sorry you weren't invited to do the survey, but you can still do it now, just read the blog above on the first line.

And I assume all those you surveyed smoke pot right .? A real survey shows the debate is around 50/ 50 in favor...I wasn't invited to participate in it? So where can I ? I hope Ritter signs the bill because there are too many dispensaries! I voted for amendment 20 and right now if I had the chance to do it again I would veto the whole thing...what a mess...there is no way amendment 20 voters voted for this sharade... sad part is eventually medical marijuana will be vetoed altogether because it will be so out of control... the really sick people who need it won't be be ble to buy anywhere but on the street, carry on campaigning and filing lawsuits all you are doing is digging your own grave anyway...you will only put yourself out of business.

No patient needs permission or license from the State to obtain pharmaceutical heroin or other dangerous narcotic.

Nor does a patient's name goes into a 'database' of users for federal/state/municipal police agencies to access or review.

These acts are invasions of privacy between a Doctor and a Patient.

It's none of the State's business what my doctor prescribes for me.

If, and only if, I go out and endanger the public while under the influence of any drug or substance, then it will become the business of others.

Credit Reporting Agencies, Landlords, Health Insurance, Employers, will all soon have access to what should be no one else's business but a doctor's and a patient's.
